Our Travelers

We’ve heard from many New Haven Promise scholars who have taken time to experience new perspectives and opportunities across the globe — be it Alexandra Torresquintero in Madagascar, James Doss-Gollin in Cambodia or Kiya Kennebrew in Cape Town. That’s Doss-Gollin — a Yale junior and graduate of Wilbur Cross High — above while on his trip to Cambodia.

When we heard from UConn’s Fontaine Chambers that she was off to London, we decided that the Promise scholars needed their own home to detail their travels. So if you have taken a school- or service-sponsored trip abroad, we’d love to share your story and, perhaps, a photo.
